Digital Marketing Case Study for More Leads

Case study: Great Lakes Power Tools

Great Lakes Power Tools, supplier of quality top-rated power tools, was losing credibility and deterring visitors from buying online due to difficult navigation and lack of brand messaging. Lead by a strategy focused on messaging, optimization, and design, Great Lakes Power Tools has seen growth in visitors, sales, and conversions.

1334%
increase in paid traffic over 4 months

MINDSCAPE partnered with Great Lakes Power Tools (GLPT) and created a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. The strategy addressed the key insight for them – consumers were looking for the products GLPT offered, they just didn’t have the confidence they required to buy it from GLPT. Therefore, the strategy stressed the importance of creating a new brand identity and using educational content, reviews, and testimonials to instill trust in their visitors.

598%
increase in monthly sales

The first order of business for GLPT was to create a new logo and color scheme that could help install a sense of trust with their website visitors. After selecting the logo, MINDSCAPE designed a new site and worked with Volusion to implement it on their platform. The site’s navigation was simplified and the tool taxonomy was changed to better direct visitors through the site. Additionally, the responsive design offered a much better mobile experience – something that was highly desired by their target audience.

31%
increase in organic traffic

To better match visitor expectations and to present a more professional impression, MINDSCAPE performed a content review and direction that helped guide specific content requirements on each page of the site. These efforts, combined with some additional off-line pieces, helped to boost their sales within weeks of launch, accounting for 75.7% of the annual total.

“They are a supremely dedicated team, laser focused on results. I interviewed seven similar
agencies for our digital marketing and Mindscape came out on top. They did not disappoint.”
