The holiday season is upon us, so the web is filled with festive marketing campaigns and holiday themed content. If you’re thinking holiday marketing is only for B2C organizations, you’re wrong!
B2B organization’s can be a part of the fun too! With people spending more time online this time of year, the holiday season is a great time to engage current and potential customers.
Here are 5 ways to [add holiday cheer] to your B2B marketing campaign…
1 | Share your holiday photos
Show your organization’s culture and personality by posting pictures on social media of company holiday parties and other festive happenings, showing customers who you really are, make your company more personable and relatable.
2 | Change the look of your social media pages
Make your social media pages more festive with holiday themed banners and posts, possibly some that reference holiday pop culture (i.e. stay off Santa’s naughty list by…).
3 | Give thanks through email or your blog
Thank your customers or followers for their support during the year. Create an email campaign or blog post expressing your gratitude and wishing them happy holidays. However, make this email purely social and not a sales pitch.
4 | Give the gift of content
Since you’re in the giving mood, consider giving away content you feel will engage and delight your audience, whether it’s free eBooks, how-to manuals, or blog posts.
Ok, this is a little embarrassing, but we have to tell you something…
We peeked at your inbound marketing wishlist and saw a content calendar template on it. We can’t, in good conscience, leave it up to faith that Santa is going to deliver for you. I mean really, we don’t know if you’ve been naughty or nice this year! So PLEASE accept our gift of a free content calendar template and rest comfortably knowing we’re here for you.
5 | Holiday sales & promos
Let the results of Black Friday and Cyber Monday inspire you. Offer a holiday discount on your products or services (ie 10% off until the end of January) or a free holiday consultation like we’re offering below.
Inbound marketing tips are like Christmas cookies, you can never have too many!
