Like pebbles tossed in a pond, one little action can make a HUGE impact!
Here is a story about the power of social media. Our client Evoqua recently started to promote their blog content on LinkedIn. In the middle of June they promoted a blog post, A Day in the Life of an Evoqua Diver. As a result of that one LinkedIn promotion, the amount of traffic it generated accounted for 25% of total blog views in the month of June. So the moral of the story, don’t underestimate what social media and Inbound Marketing can do for your organization.
How to Prove the Value of Inbound Marketing
Are you tired of watching your competition continue to grow through their online efforts while you’re struggling to gain any traction at all? Are you convinced Inbound Marketing is exactly what you need to put your company in a position to overcome these competitors, but you’re having a difficult time getting buy-in from your CFO or CEO?
This article should provide all you need to prove to them that Inbound Marketing is exactly what your organization needs.
The Problem
The buying process has completely changed over the past 10-15 years, and unfortunately many companies have had a difficult time transitioning their marketing approach to address those changes. Today, 93% of all buying decisions start with a visit to the search engines and 57% of the sales cycle is complete before a prospect ever reaches out to a sales rep.
The traditional marketing playbook is broken and unfixable due to the availability of information to the consumer as well as technological advancements that have allowed consumers to eliminate the noise and chatter from advertisers. The power has significantly shifted, and companies who aren’t taking active steps to get in front of their potential customers early on in the buying process will eventually (if they aren’t already) begin to suffer serious declines in the amount of leads and customers they are receiving.
The Answer: Inbound Marketing
Inbound Marketing makes it far easier than ever to attribute money spent to revenue generated. It is a holistic, data driven methodology that leverages the way people buy today, while creating dividend-producing, long-term assets for your organization.

What brought you to MINDSCAPE?
I met pbrand while working with the West Grand Neighborhood Organization. I was leading the organization as Executive Director and Pete was a member of the board of directors. Pete was one of our board who would speak his mind – often in the heat of tough decisions. I felt he was passionate about his business and and he brought that same passion to the neighborhood organization. When I decided to move on from the leading the organization, I immediately took the chance offered to join MINDSCAPE in business development. I have 15 years of business experience and now I’ve found a great company to work for where I can leverage that background to help build and grow MINDSCAPE.
What do you do here?
Business Development Leader: Grow Business! I work on cultivating new business opportunities and I manage the sales process.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Working out at the gym. I have overcome a battle with being severely overweight early in my life, so I take fitness seriously. I am finishing my certification to become a personal trainer as well.
Play Chess. Play Chess… and did I mention, Play Chess. I am an avid speed chess player online. I like the thrill of playing quick games which rely on a combination of skill, strategy and speed.
I’m a musician. I am trained in classical piano and I can still play a few tunes on a tenor saxophone
If you could have one superpower what would it be? Why?
The power to fly. It would be amazing to be able to fly.
